Two letters, one from Windsor Castle to the Italian Ambassador to London in 1879 written on behalf of Queen Victoria by Jane Ely. The other is written by John Holland, the biographer of James Montgomery. Also photocopies of letter heads, crests and signatures.

Queen Victoria was the only child of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn and Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld.
